Volunteers
These are a few of the opportunities to provide volunteering services to the 100 Black Men of The Monterey Peninsula:
Tutoring - The 100BMMP has Three (3) different locations around the Monterey Peninsula area where you can volunteer as tutor to elementary age children in 1st through 6th grades.
Mentoring - the 100BMMP has two mentoring programs in which your time and efforts as a volunteer would be extremely valuable. The primary focus of our mentoring programs is on African-American males.
Each One - Teach One - This is our one-to-one mentoring program for primarily young African-American males between 8 - 18 years of age.
Spring: The Tommie Smith Annual Track Meet President's Scholarship Awards Luncheon
Summer: The African American Male Youth Conference
Fall: 100 Flag Football League Monterey 100 Scholarship Golf Tournament Monterey 100 Scholarship Black Tie Gala
Winter: 100 Youth Track & Field Team Family Health Day
